Three ways to hold your door.
The Guard's arm moves into whichever position you need — then anchors it with structural strength.
Pass-Thru
The arm swings out so the door opens up to 8 inches — enough for packages, fresh air, or talking to a visitor, all on your terms.
Deadbolt
Locked flat against the header for a full, structural deadbolt — your door held shut as if it were part of the wall.
Stow
The arm drops to the edge of the frame, completely out of the way, so the door operates like normal.

What doors does The Guard fit?
The Guard fits standard doors 1⅜″ to 1¾″ thick. Compatible with wood, metal, and fiberglass doors. Works on both left and right-hand doors.
Does it work on French doors?
Yes. While not specifically designed for French doors, The Guard is fully compatible. We recommend installing on the door you open most frequently.
How does it install?
The Guard mounts into your door's header with the included hardware, so installation involves drilling a few mounting holes. That solid anchor into the structural header is exactly what makes it so strong — your door becomes an extension of the wall.
Does it use batteries?
The Guard runs on an internal rechargeable battery — you simply plug it in to charge, with no disposable batteries to swap. The electronics have passed FCC Prescan testing.
